Triad Live Productions supplied a KV2 Audio solution for the recent Jordanian run of Bollywood musical Taj Express. The run consisted of two shows per day for two days at the Cultural Palace in Amman.
Triad opted for a KV2 ES system to cover the venue. A pair of ES1.0 tops were flown either side of the stage with four ES2.16 subwoofers ground stacked per side and EX12 speakers as in-fills. Monitors and side-fills were via a further eight EX12s. The whole system was powered by four EPAK2500R amplifiers / controllers.
The rental company turned to DPA for the microphone package. It supplied the manufacturer’s d:screet head-worn mics for all singers and performers.
‘As with most Bollywood musicals, the focus is on impact, be it visual or sound, therefore the KV2 system needed to handle everything that was thrown at it, and it did that with flying colours,’ said Triad general manager, Amjad Marar. ‘We received so much praise for the sound from so many audience members. The system was powerful, tight and clear with amazing dynamics.’
