KV2 Audio – in conjunction with Irish partners Just Lite - are excited to announce the UK launch of their highly anticipated VHD 5.0 Constant Power Point Source Array. Taking place at Production Park, Wakefield on October 6th KV2 invites all industry professionals and users alike to experience A Bold New Advancement in Concert Sound Reinforcement.

In an event running alongside Production Park’s Production Future’s networking and Recruitment Market Place event and TPI’s Breakthrough Talent Awards running in the evening, the day will offer the opportunity to experience this revolutionary system in an environment mirroring its intended application.

A complete VHD 5.0 System comprising of the VHD5.0 Mid High Module, VHD8.10 Low Mid Expansion Modules and VHD 4.21 Active Subwoofer System can be experienced in two separate slots running between 10:00 - 12:00 and 14:00 - 16:00.

The event follows the first successful UK event which saw the VHD 5.0 system blow away revelers at the 11,000 capacity SSE Arena in Belfast where Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike – awarded the prestigious Number 1 position in DJ Mag Top 100 DJ’s Poll – performed their award winning live combination of DJ Sets and crowd-busting MC’ing.

Just Lite – who currently boast one of the largest rental inventories of KV2 Audio equipment – were responsible for full production services at the event and ensured that the UK debut of VHD5.0 went so successfully.

KV2’s philosophy has always been to embrace the principles of point source speaker system design to provide optimum sound quality and coverage for applications and audiences of all sizes. The challenge for KV2 in building a large point source system for audiences of 15,000 people plus, was to reproduce the low mid energy that certain line arrays provide whilst maintaining the key benefits of point source technology.

The VHD5.0 Constant Power Point Source System is a true feat of engineering. Over five years in development it brings together the benefits of point source technology to large-scale concert sound reinforcement. The system delivers audio over large areas with clarity and definition simply not achievable from the digitally processed line arrays that are so commonly used today.
